Recently taking his master degree on Psychology at Gadjah Mada University, one of the leading universities in Indonesia, Galang Lufityanto has designes a contemporary method of literary writing composition, called Pelatihan Empatik Menulis Fiksi & Non-Fiksi, which completely serves cognitive, affective, and psycho-motoric level of human attitudes. He was a coordinator of FLP Creative Writing Centre, one of the divisions of Forum Lingkar Pena Yogyakarta, the biggest writer community in Indonesia that has more than 5,000 members. He has nationally published several books and won several national writing competition. He was also often invited as a jury in writing competitions and as a speaker in seminars or trainings relating to literary writing, journalism, and general youth issues.
