How to direct your mood to write

Some people think that writing fictions has something to do with mood. Since it is a imaginary work, the mental readiness is all that matters. I, personally, won't deny that idea. Instead of seeing mood as a stumbling block in writing fiction, I'd rather think mood as a reinforcement that motivates the writer in a writing process.
I have met lots of writer who put their work into delay since they were not in the mood of writing. What a pity! Professional writer is an occupation. Just like an ordinary job, writing needs discipline and amount of commitments to get a better result. In that case, mood can always be manipulated so that we are not stirred by it. Below are the tips to manage your mood in writing:
Make a fixed schedule for writing and get stick on it. Having your own schedule makes yourself, physically and mentally, get used to it. Keep it short but frequently. Doing writing in a long period of time and non-stop may influence your mental ability to keep producing a qualified work.
Set a target for each schedule. It could be based on a scene or pages.
Have a favourite place to write where everything required is available such as snacks, drinks, and the most important is any necessary documents/paper. We often get annoyed when we are not able to find the documents needed for our work. The idea that a writer is a messy person is not correct. I can prove you that most of good writers are also good at filing.
Link your mood into something which is easy to get. I'd rather call it as a guilty pleasure; to have something to spoil with. I do it with a cup of coffee. It is easy to find, so I do not have excuse for stop writing.
Use aromatherapy to bring the atmosphere: flower based fragrance for bringing romantic atmosphere into your room, or citrus based fragrance for more dynamic and passionate one.
